Chartbooks
A chartbook is a saved Charts layout. Keep one per way you trade, such as "BTC intraday" with a one-minute chart and a footprint, and "Swing" with daily charts across five markets, and switch between them from one menu. Set up Charts for how you trade builds a first one step by step.

The Chartbooks menu
Hover the chartbook name in the top-left corner of Charts, next to your avatar. It reads No Chartbook until you create one. The menu has two parts.

Save your changes
Chartnaut keeps every change you make in Charts as you work, in this browser, so a reload brings the layout back as you left it. The chartbook itself changes only when you save it.
Hover the chartbook name.
Click Save.
A Your chartbook has been saved successfully message confirms it. Until you save, the chartbook on the server and on your other devices is the last saved version.
Real-time Charts and each replay session keep their own unsaved changes. Rearranging panels during a backtest does not move your live layout, and nothing changes in either until you click Save.
Make a variation
Duplicate is the quickest way to try something new without touching a layout you rely on, for example the same charts on ETH instead of BTC.
Hover the chartbook name and click Duplicate.
Change the Label if you want, pick a Color, and click Create.
Change the copy. Your original is unchanged.
The new chartbook takes the layout on screen, including anything you have not saved.
Rename or recolour a chartbook
Hover the chartbook name.
In Library, hover the chartbook and click the pencil icon.
Change the Label or Color in Edit chartbook.
Click Update.
Update also saves the layout on screen into that chartbook. Switch to a chartbook before you edit it, or the one you edit takes the layout of the one you are looking at.
Ask the assistant
The Chartnaut Assistant panel can save the active chartbook or switch to another one for you. Ask it, for example, Save this layout, and approve the change when it asks. How the agent works covers approvals.
Limits
Your plan sets how many panels a chartbook opens and how many indicators each chart holds, as listed on Chart limits. A chartbook saved before a plan change keeps all its panels, but cannot grow past the new limit.
