Profile
Your profile is the page other traders see when they open your name: your avatar, a short bio, your links, and the indicators, definitions and apps you have published.
Open it from the menu under your name at the bottom of the sidebar: click Profile.
Edit your profile
Click Edit at the top right of the header.
To change your avatar, click it and pick an image. PNG, JPEG and WebP up to 5MB work, and the new avatar saves straight away.
Change your username or bio. The bio takes up to 500 characters.
Under Links, fill in any of Website, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Discord and GitHub. A handle or a full URL both work.
Click Done to save, or Cancel to drop the changes.
While your bio or links are empty, your profile shows Add a short bio or Add website & socials under your name. Both open the same editor.
Username rules
A username is 3 to 30 characters, starts with a letter, and uses only letters, numbers, underscores and hyphens. It cannot start or end with an underscore or hyphen, or have two of them in a row. Chartnaut checks it as you type and tells you if it is taken. Changing it changes your profile's address too.
Change the background
Beside Profile at the top left is a small button, Customise background. Pick a wallpaper and slide the hue. It saves on its own.
What you have published
Under the header is everything you have shared to the community library. Filter it with All, Indicators, Definitions or Apps, and click a row to open it. The header counts them as N published.
Until you publish something the list reads Nothing published yet, with Open research library to get started.
Other people see the same page, with when you joined, but without the Edit button or the background picker.
