Preferences

Two settings apply across the whole app: your timezone and your theme. Both are in the menu under your name at the bottom of the sidebar.

Timezone

  1. Open the menu under your name.

  2. Hover Timezone.

  3. Pick one: UTC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong or Sydney.

The timezone decides:

Until you pick one, the journal and playbook reports use UTC. A trader in London who closes a trade at 00:30 UK time in summer sees it on the previous day under UTC, and on the right day once the timezone is set to London.

Charts has the same setting in its top toolbar, with a few more choices: Denver, Paris, Shanghai and Melbourne. Changing it in either place changes both.

Theme

Click Theme in the same menu. It opens the colours and settings dialog, where you pick a theme for the app and the charts. The themes and every setting in the dialog are on Chart settings and themes.

Where they are saved

Both are saved in this browser. On another computer, another browser or Chartnaut Desktop, set them again.
