Community views
Community views are views other traders have built and made public. You try each one on your own trade, day or report before adding it, so you see it working on your data, not a screenshot of theirs.
Find one for this page
Open a page that takes views: a trade, journal day or instrument, or the Reports of a backtest session, account or playbook.
Click + View, or Create custom report on a report page.
Click Explore community views under the description box.
Community views lists every public view made for that kind of page. A view for a set of trades fits journal days, sessions, accounts and playbooks alike, so the same view turns up on all four. Each card shows its name, description, author and how many people have added it. Search by name, description or author in the box at the top.
Try it on your data
Click a card. The view opens Previewing on this trade (or this day, session, account, playbook or instrument), drawn on the page you came from with your own data.
If the view needs data gathered first, it asks before drawing: see What views and apps can see and change. Check a number you know. Click the back arrow to try another.
Add it
Click Add to this page.
If the view uses other pieces, such as someone's indicator, a dialog lists them first. Confirm it, then click Add to this page again.
The view goes into your library and onto every page of that kind, only for you. It sits in Tools → Apps beside your own work, and + View lists it under Your views on the other pages it fits.
Views you add are the author's
A view added from Community is still its author's. You cannot edit it, and it updates when they publish a new version. To make it your own, open Tools → Apps, open the view's menu and click Clone: you get a copy you can change with Open editor.
Taking it off a page works like any view: click the × on its tab or report row. It stays in your library until you remove it there.
Nothing fits yet
Nothing shared yet means no one has published a view for that kind of page. Build your own takes you back to the description box. Browse the community opens Community on its Apps tab, where Community library explains searching and adding.
Share one of yours
Open Tools → Apps and set your view's visibility to Public on its row. It then shows in Community views on every page of its kind, for anyone. People who add it run it on their own data, and none of theirs comes back to you.
