Definitions on the chart
Add a definition to a chart and it marks every bar where its event happened, such as each break of the first 15-minute range of the New York session on BTC. The marks are worked out live from the bars on the chart, so they appear on any instrument and timeframe you add the definition to, without running it over history first.
To build a definition, see Build a definition. When the agent builds one for you, its Result card already shows the marks on a chart beside the chat.
Add a definition
Click Indicator in the top toolbar, or Indicator in a chart's header.
Under Apply to, pick the charts.
Open Mine for your own definitions or Community for shared ones. Definitions carry a Definition badge. Searching finds them too.
Click the definition. A short wizard opens, headed with its name and Add to chart.
Work through the steps, clicking Continue on each.
On the last step, click Add to chart.
The wizard uses the definition's latest version.
The wizard's steps
The wizard only shows a step when there is a choice to make, so a simple definition goes straight to the review.

The profile matters beyond the marks: the Forward Insights you see when you click a mark are the ones made for this profile. Hiding an event in the wizard only changes what is drawn.
What the marks look like
Each event is a thin stem with a small circle and a label, in the event's colour. Marks sit faded until you hover them, when the circle fills. Click a mark and it turns yellow, and a popover opens with what that event is and any Forward Insight for it.
Change it later
The definition has a row in the chart's legend like any indicator. Click its name, or hover the row and click the gear, to open its settings.
Events tab: for each event, Show on chart, Color and Show label text.
Profile: switch profile, or Edit profile, New profile and Delete profile.
The other tabs work as on any indicator.
Hide or remove it from the legend row: the eye hides it, the cross removes it.
Limits
A definition counts against the indicators on a chart, along with every indicator it brings with it: 5 on Starter, 15 on Pro and unlimited on Ultra. Free has no Charts. Chart limits has the detail.
