Trade detail
Click any trade in Trades, a journal day or an account's Trades tab, and its detail opens: everything Chartnaut recorded about the trade, and the places you add your own view of it.
The header
Along the top: the symbol and side, the tabs, then the result and Share. Sharing a trade covers Share.
Overview is where you review and annotate the trade.
Details lists every execution.
+ View adds a tab of your own, such as a chart of this trade against your other trades on the same setup. See Views on trades.
If the trade is on a broker symbol that is not linked to a chart, a notice above the tabs offers Map followed by the symbol. Symbol mapping explains it.
Overview
The Details list on the left holds the facts: Result (with commission and swap when there were any), Entry, Exit, Side, Status, Quantity, Origin, Opened and Closed.
Beside it is the trade's P&L path: its open profit and loss from entry to exit, so you can see whether a winner nearly stopped out first.
Playbook and tags
Click the value beside Playbook.
Under Log this trade to, choose a playbook.
Click the value beside Tags and tick the tags that were true for this trade.
Click Save.
Tags belong to a playbook, so a trade needs a playbook before it can be tagged. Moving a tagged trade to a different playbook asks you to confirm with Change playbook, and clears its tags. Tags and criteria explains how tags are set up.
Your own properties
Properties are fields you define once and fill in per trade, such as a grade, a mistake or a recording link.
Click Add property.
Type a name and choose a type: Text, Large Text, Select, Multi-select, Number, Checkbox, Date, Rating, URL or Duration.
Press Enter.
Click the new row's value to fill it in.
A property appears on all your trades, and each trade keeps its own value. Values save as you type. To remove a property from every trade, open its row menu and click Delete property. You can filter Trades by any property except Large Text.
Notes
Write under Notes. They save as you type, and Saving shows briefly beside the heading. Load template… fills the notes from a saved template. Notes, tags and templates covers templates.
Snapshots
Under the notes are the chart snapshots Chartnaut took at open and close. Interactive shows the trade on a chart you can scroll and draw on; Images shows the pictures. Snapshots and replay has the detail.
Details
The Details tab lists what was executed:

MFE is how far the trade went in your favour while it was open, and MAE how far it went against you. Potential (R) is the best R the setup reached before your initial stop was hit, or up to two hours after you exited. Some of these values fill in over the two hours after a trade closes, while Chartnaut watches price.
