How to get the most out of Chartnaut

Six workflows that make Chartnaut worth using, and where to start each one. Run them in Chartnaut Desktop if you can: it is the same app as the browser, and it can run the agent on your own AI subscription.

Test an idea before you trade it

Describe a setup and the agent builds a definition that finds every time it happened over a few years of history. Then a study measures it: how often it worked, how far it went, when it failed. You get an answer with a sample size behind it before any money is at risk.

Start with Build a definition. Needs Starter or above.

Bring the answer to your chart

A study you trust can become a Forward Insight. When the setup appears again, live or in a replay, the chart shows what usually happened next, right on the bar where it fired.

Start with Forward Insights.

Log every trade without thinking about it

Connect Chartnaut Demo or a MetaTrader account and every trade is saved in Trades with entry and exit snapshots. Add a line to the day in the Journal and the record is complete.

Start with Connect an account.

Turn your trades into a playbook

Group the trades that belong to one setup into a playbook, set its R-level targets and tag what you saw. Its reports show where the setup pays and where it does not, and once it has enough trades, Historical Intelligence learns from them.

Start with Create a playbook.

Practise on history

A backtest session replays past market days on the chart and lets you trade them with the replay controls. Start on a random date so you cannot remember what happens next, and file the trades into your playbook as you go.

Start with Start a session.

Let the agent build what you need

Describe an indicator, a definition, a study or an app, and the agent builds it, checks it against real data and waits for your approval.

Start with The agent. Uses AI credits or your own AI subscription.
