In-terminal pins

An in-terminal pin brings a finished study run onto your Terminal chart — click a bar to see stats for that setup in context while you trade or replay.

Pins are research results on chart. They are not pinned trade collections.

What you get

  • Overlay tied to a specific study run

  • Click or hover interactions — cohort stats for the active bar

  • Live updates on Real-time or Replay Terminal when the pin is active

Prerequisites

  • A completed study run

  • Terminal open on a compatible instrument/timeframe

Create a pin

From the study run:

  1. Open the run under Definitions → Studies

  2. Click Put on chart or Create pin

Or manage from the definition’s In-terminal pins tab after creation.

See Put on chart for Pin Studio and batch options.

Manage pins

Research → Definitions → [definition] → In-terminal pins

List active pins. Remove or replace when you ship a new study run.

The empty tab does not run a study for you — finish a run first, then pin.

What good looks like

London session, ES 5m chart, one pin showing your ORB study hit rate. You click today's opening break bar and see the historical cohort stats immediately.

Important distinctions

In-terminal pin = study stats on Terminal chart.

Pinned collection = saved trades in Trades library.

Indicator = always-on lines — pins are study-driven overlays.

Next

  1. Put on chart — primary CTA and Pin Studio

  2. Pinned collections — the other “pin” (saved trades)

  3. Run a study — produce a pin-ready run
